gLite 3.0
gLite File Transfer Service (FTS) for MySQL
The File Transfer Service (FTS) is a fabric service for file replication. It provides to sites a controllable and manageable way of serving the file transfer requests of their users. The site can control the amount of bandwidth used for each class of transfers together with the share given to each of its VOs. It allows the VOs to control the ordering of jobs and the failure policies to apply.
This is the web-service, client-facing part component of the File Transfer Service, allowing users to submit and query the status of jobs, and allows administrators to manage the service. For the second part of the FTS, please see the File Transfer Agents (FTA).
This deployment module uses MySQL as the backend database.
