Description
This update introduces the first version of the glite 3.1 (x86_64) glite-LFC_mysql service. Only fresh install is supported, and the service
is
configured with the usual command:
/opt/glite/yaim/bin/yaim -c -s /etc/yaim/site-info.def -n glite-LFC_mysql
The necessary YAIM variables are described in the following document:
https://twiki.cern.ch/twiki/bin/view/LCG/LFC_configuration_variables
In order to install the service, the following yum command is needed:
yum install glite-LFC_mysql
LFC 1.6.8-1
The gLite LFC service has been updated to the version 1.6.8-1, which
introduces new bulk methods for lfc_getreplicasl and lfc_delreplicas. Test results for different
methods and bulk/non-bulk operations can be found here:
https://twiki.cern.ch/twiki/bin/view/LCG/LFCBM
It is worth mentioning that the man page for lfc_getreplicasl is missing. However,
the next release will contain it. Please, see the related bug:
