Description

This issue has been intorduced with gLite 3.1 Update 20 (22.04.08) together with lfc version 1.6.10-4sec.slc4. The problem and possible workarounds have been introduced in the savannah bug report (link above). A fix has already been provided and it will be released as soon as certified.
