Description
This update contains a new version of BDII (3.8.8), which has the following changes compared to the previously released version (3.8.5):- Increase slapd memory cache sizes for LCG/EGEE top-level BDIIs.
- Wait up to 1 minute for a new slapd to become responsive.
- Preload the DB in memory, so that the first clients do not have to wait.
- Try to prevent the slapd ports from getting taken by other processes.
- Relax top-level BDII limitation: it can accept but not update file URLs.
