gLite VOMS Server and Administration Tools (ORACLE)

1. Release Description

This release contains the ORACLE version of the gLite VOMS Server and Administration Tools module v. 2.1.0. The following sections provide additional information about the release content, the module dependencies, the know bugs and issues and a list of bugs closed since the previous release. For information about installing and using the gLite VOMS Server and Administration Tools, please refer to the gLite Installation and User Guides.

2. Changes in this Release

This is the first version of the Oracle version for the VOMS server. For details on general changes between this version of the VOMS server and the previous version of VOMS (MySQL only), please have a look at the release notes of the MySQL version of the VOMS server.

3.1. Glite sub-deployment modules

The gLite VOMS Server (Oracle) module installs/uses the following set of gLite deployment modules:

5. Known bugs and issues

The VOMS Admin tools for Oracle have a known problem with database connections and may refuse to accept new user registrations after some time of operation
