What's new
Version 3.2.11 of the glite-WN contains the following changes with respect to the previous release:
- New version of the LB client
- Minor change of glite-data-delegation-cli version to bring it into line with the UI
- Addition of certain Data Management 32bit packages
- New version of yaim clients containing bug fixes
- New version lcg-info
- Minor version of voms-api-* components
- SAGA is included in the tarball distribution
- Corrected a regression of bug #48309 (thread safety) of the 32bit globus libraries in the glite-WN_tar
Some issues which were solved with workarounds for the previous WN or WN_tar release are resolved:
- The need to install some 32bit Data Management RPMs by hand or to add symbolic links by hand has been removed.
- The need to exclude packages by hand from yum when running groupupdate has been removed.
- When using yaim with WN_tar to manage the installation of CAs, the need to remove outdated CRLs to allow the setup of the CRL update cron job has been removed.
- When running yaim to setup WN_tar an error related to the configuration of SAGA is prevented. (The setup of SAGA is now disabled by default, but if selected SAGA can also be configured for WN_tar)
Configuration changes
A new version of yaim clients brings the following changes relevant to the WN:
- SAGA configuration is now optional. It will not be configured unless CONFIG_SAGA is set to "yes".
- Changed the default setting of CA_REPOSITORY to refer to the EGI repository.
