SE Manual Installation Tools

Welcome in the SE installation area for tag LCG-2_1_1.

From this page you can download the complete set of tools (rpm lists, scripts ... ) needed to install the SE.
Detailed instructions to use the provided tools and to configure the SE can be found in the

• SE_manual_install_rpm: Plain full list of those rpms needed to install the SE software on top of a plain RH7.3 installation, whose dependencies have already been dealt with.
• SE_manual_install_wget: A shell script which downloads, from the LCG mirror site at CERN the rpms included into the list "SE_manual_install_rpm"
• SE_manual_install_extra_rpm: A short list of rpms which RH7.3 does not install by default, but which have been turned out to be required in order to have the SE software installed. This list is provided just for reference, since the rpms from this list are already included into the list "SE_manual_install_rpm"
• SE_remove_rpm: List of obsolete rpms to be unistalled before the SE upgrade
• SE_upgrade_rpm: Rpms which should update the ones already installed on the SE
• SE_upgrade_wget: A shell script which downloads, from the LCG mirror site at CERN, the rpms included into the list "SE_upgrade_rpm"
• SE_tools.tar.gz: The complete set of the above tools ready to be downloaded
